For 3 years Don Paresi worked on a Dark Fantasy comic called Sepulcher. I (Steve Woron) was the editor and after I approved some basic layout sketches, Don went on his way to pencil the pages. The book is a horror, fantasy, gothic, sexy, female, pin-up, T&A thriller.
When he returned, he showed me pencilled pages that were so detailed that I decided to print the pages un-inked-- in perfect pencil form. Don is a slow meticulous artist and these pages took at least 50+ hours to draw. At my starting price of only $29.99, that's less than $1 an hour for his time!! (a little more for splash pages). What a bargain.. .!
